The ability to predict outcomes, foresee the future, and foretell doom.
Conjures magic unknown to any other wizards or spell casters in the land.
The most beloved and hated person in the world. The Oracle has tremendous power to shape the world and its events by predicting the future, and in some cases, changing fate. The awesome power of the Oracle is not one that can be trained; a person either has the skill or they do not.
Oracles did not exist prior to the destruction of the Kingstones and the death of the Eternal Elmran in 832 KS. Elmran was the Eternal of Time, capable of manipulating timelines and events in Altius to better suit his wishes. Now, with Elmran and the Time Mages gone, there seems to be no possibility of manipulating timelines or events in the future, so Oracles are now able to see into the future with clarity.
They are the most valued and feared members of any court in any realm. Frequent assassination attempts are made upon Oracles, though such attempts are frequently foiled.
Oracles are not perfect, and are not invulnerable. But they are prized beyond gold, so long as their powers hold true.

The following oracle spell descriptions provide summaries of their actual in-game effects.
Increase your target’s Faith (Spell hit chance).
Chance to link multiple targets together, so they cannot move far apart.
Chance to Lock your target for 3turns (prevent them from using Criticals).
Permanent light or shadow immunity, and chance to raise Intelligence/ Inspiration.
At the end of 3turns, chance to kill your target, based on their current HP.
Chance to remove a magic, maintained, or status effect from the target.
Chance to cause the next three (3) attacks against the target to have more hit chance.
Drastically increase your target’s defenses for 1turn. After, they are slightly fatigued.
Chance to increase your hit chance against the target with your “Doom” Spell.
Chance to reflect the next debuff effect against the target, back to their attacker.
The Oracle class is a Stat powerhouse, as you can boost allies' hit chance and defenses, while also weakening enemies. Over the course of even a few turns in battle, these Stat differences add up, and can wildly swing a situation in your favor.
There are many approaches you can take as an Oracle, but it's always great to boost your own and allies' Faith (Magic hit chance) with "Aspect of Eternity," especially since it can be maintained at the start of every battle. Also, you can instant-cast "Chains of Condemnation" to prevent enemies from rushing you. Meanwhile, "Omen" and "Proclamation" can drastically increase your hit chance with "Doom," to put a time limit on your target's remaining life.
While "Doom" is ticking down, you can protect yourself and allies with "Premonition," "Reflect," "Dark Omen," and even "Greater Dispel," to remove powerful buffs from enemies, or debuffs from allies.
Finally, "Divine Spark" will occasionally give you additional Intelligence to instant-cast more powerful Spells throughout the battle.
Freya: the first oracle, loyal to the Stonebolt dynasty. Along with the heroes of light, Elmran created Freya. She possesses incredible abilities to see into the future and foretell destiny. She is a stoneborn with many followers. She is also a Lord of Kel-Nagrand, though the fact that she is an Esper is not well-known.
